SCRAPFEST 2013 BLOGHOP...

Right then I now have a little more time up my sleeve...  Apologies re this mornings effort, remembered shortly before I was leaving for work that we were to post on our blogs this am...
Soooo rather than nothing at all I decided "short has to be better than zilch"!!!

Like all I am so looking forward to SCRAPFEST in August, meeting new people, sharing/learning new ideas and oh of course cannot forget the social side of this upcoming get together...

I have not had a chance to complete any crafting in the past week or so, but thought i would share the following with you all...

"Life Is The Greatest Journey You Will Ever Be On"

Oh so true...

Our Nelson IDEA Services branch where I am employed are holding a "masked" ball tomorrow night, so hope to post some pics of our Service Users living and loving their life to the max...

Wow, looks like we are "underway" with the Scrapfest 2013 blog hop...  Sooooo, thought maybe need to add a couple of recent layouts that I have found the time to complete.

Love these new Kaisercraft papers, just the "thing" for some Grandson layouts me thinks...

Matthew (above), youngest Grandson at Christmas time, sporting his first ever set of golf clubs..  If he is anything like his Dad or his Tapawera Nan, this will be the start of more to come...

Spent a weekend in Hokitika with eldest Grandson Angus, and his Mum and Dad just a couple of weeks ago...

Loads of fun had, even had my first ever helicopter ride!!!  Daughter Jackie is a Paramedic for St John on the Solid Energy Rescue helicopter based out of Greymouth, so she decided if I had a spin in a chopper it would allay my fears of the job she now does... LOL   No Comment here...

Layout completed here of Angus of some pics taken before I left for home on the Monday morning, a cool wee country school is Kaniere in Hoki...
May all your schooldays put this kinda smile on your face eh Angus!!!

RIGHT THEN...

Right then here goes!!!
Just the incentive needed Trina Mclune and Lyn Jordan a "blog hop".  Had a play with a blog a while back, but and a BIG  BUT have not had a play there in a long while...  So thought okay, I need to get this "up and running again"

So yep Scrapfest 2013 being one of my bigger  (maybe the biggest) events this year has got me smiling... (and blogging)

Completed this layout up at Lyn's a couple of weeks ago, (well nearly, just needed a title and a little bling to finish)... love the small classes and the relaxed atmosphere, and of course the company of other "scrappers/friends"

Holidays with Grandies!!!

Well, they have come and all but gone, (school hols I mean). Had
my eldest daughter and two grandies down from Wellington staying
for the first week.

Drove home yesterday from Hokitika, had been staying at the youngest
daughters minding the grandson, (seven) while Mum and Dad at work.

Photo is the five grandchildren enjoying time together in Tapawera
at middle daughters home.

Can't say much of a holiday had, but hey totally loved doing lots
with them all, a joy to have...
